When our son was born in Munich, I had the time during my maternity leave to re-orient myself from a busy working life to learning how to slow down a bit. In parallel, this time begun to shape my skills in styling and called for further creative escapes from being a mom on a daily basis.

Then, a pure chance led us to South Africa. Our daughter was born in Stellenbosch. I had very few expectations about what the corner of this continent could offer to me. But it was a time-consuming journey of exploration that encouraged me to learn, to listen and to open my eyes. I give credit to my developed passion to the commitment of exposing my children to the nature wonders and different cultures at their young age.

Yet, another passion of mine is for creating stunning environments which is for me synonymous with earthy colours and natural light. Design and natural beauty are my desires and my escape to the same extent as is the travelling and a good quality food.  I am fortunate enough to have travelled and explored in my life, which has given me a unique perspective on how people live and an understanding of how different spaces come together.

When I am not in my creative modus, I am doing my daily routine with my precious lovely children - Roman and Cora, and with my husband with whom I share many of my passions. I do not want to feel like I am missing out on important things in my kids’ lives.
