The spaces around us have a quiet influence on everyday life — on how we feel, how we live, and the environment children grow up in.

Living well, for me, is often about the small choices that shape the world around us.

South Africa / Stellenbosch

From Stellenbosch to places closer to home — places, homes and ways of living that I keep coming back to.

People, organisation and progress

Years of working with people and organisations have shaped the way I look at things, alongside a long-standing interest in architecture, design and the spaces we live in.

PAINTING & WRITING

A quieter expression

Painting became part of my life while I was living in South Africa. I still come back to the Western Cape — its coast, vineyards, mountains and particular light — and much of that finds its way into my work. I mostly paint in acrylics.

The book came from questions I kept returning to around children, family and the environments we create around them. It is a personal project, shaped more by experience than expertise, and by subjects I felt deserved a little more attention.

A cookbook titled "Flavors & Flowers: Family Easy Cooking Simplified" resting on a beige surface, featuring a cover photo of a plate of salad with various vegetables and garnishes, surrounded by vases with flowers and candles.
